The 2020 edition of the Agora Festival and Academy is postponed from 25 to 30 July 2021 due to the Covid-19 crisis. 

In 2020, this course will offer to 10 students the opportunity to work on the specificities of ancient music repertoires with internationally renowned viola da gamba performer Marianne Muller, professor at the CNSMD in Lyon and baroque violinist Alice Piérot, a first violin of numerous baroque music ensembles and professor at the Aix-en-Provence Conservatoire.

Content of the course

- Individual tuition : 30 min/day with Marianne Muller and 30 min/day with another teacher.
- Group tuition (1 hour/day), under the guidance of Marianne Muller and Alice Piérot. This group course will focus on the counterpoint, the independence of phrasings as well as the ornamentations. Students will work on ensemble music repertoires ( 16th to the 18th century).

The price of the course includes all individual and group classes as well as accommodation with full board (from Monday 3th to Friday 7th of August included) :

A discount of 50% will be granted to students enrolled in 2019-2020 in bachelor's and master's (main subject accordion). A proof will be required.
